Hailing from West London, born and bought up in a small town called West Drayton, Nisha is a creative.
She started playing the Violin taking lessons from the age of 7 through the Hillingdon Music Service, achieved her Grade 8 ABRSM exam and started teaching Music part time as a career alongside composing and performing.
Her first concert performance was at the age of 9 years old at the Royal Albert Hall with the Hillingdon Music Service.
Reaching adulthood, Nisha joined the Fulham Symphony Orchestra and performed at the Barbican with the BBC Symphony Orchestra in a special tribute to composer George Crumb.
Throughout high school Nisha played lead roles in Musicals and could reach top C in her vocal range!
These musicals included My Fair Lady and The Pirates of Penzance.
As a composer,Nisha has composed music for short films that have won awards in Los Angeles (USA) and Maidstone (Kent, UK). She is also writing for a stage musical called "Your Melody".
As a singer-songwriter, Nisha has performed her material at various venues including the East London mela festival, Shaanti's Eastern Electronic Festival, The Sound Garden in Southampton, Southampton Mela Festival, the Theatre Royal in East London and many more.
She has released some material on iTunes.
Nisha is a vegetarian and always interested in new exciting recipes for good wholesome vegetarian food!
Nisha is also a teacher of Voice (ABRSM Grade 8), Violin (ABRSM Grade 8) and Piano (ABRSM Grade 4) and Music Theory / Composition.
